Q: When does the essay contest begin?
A: My Paradise in Paradise essay contest begins on August 16, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. Atlantic Standard Time.
Q: How do I enter the contest?
A: Log on to www.myparadisebusiness.com and CLICK the button that says "Enter Now". Then follow the steps to submit your $100 fee per entry via Paypal. You will receive an email with your username and password after your payment has cleared, which you can use to login, enter your contact information and to submit your 100 to 200 word essay.
Q: Can I submit more than one entry?
A: Yes. You may submit multiple entries at $100 per entry. Note that you will not receive another login/password email - all of your entries will be listed in your account when you log in using your login and password used for your first entry.
Q: Will the essay title be in the 100 to 200 word count?
A: No. The essay title will not be counted in the 100 to 200 word count.
Q: How many words is "2007"
A: Numerical representation of the year will count as a single word.
Q: Will hyphenated words count as one word or two?
A: Hyphenated words (example) "runner-up" will be counted as one word.
Q: How will I know when the total amount of entries is filled for My Business in Paradise?
A: Once the total amount of entries has been received for My Business in Paradise essay contest, a closed notification will be posted on www.myparadisebusiness.com web site and no new entries will be accepted. We will email entrants with notification as well.
Q: What is the New Concept in Paradise Business Ownership?

Q: Are entrants allowed to submit a URL link that has a essay overlay with art, or a PowerPoint presentation?
A: Contest judges will only evaluate submissions made via the website's submission system.
Q: Who will be judging the contest?
A: The sponsor and any and all persons associated with Mixology Warehouse, Inc. will not judge any of the contestant’s essays. No less than 3 judges will judge the essays. One judge shall have a Jurist Doctorate degree from an accredited American university. One judge shall be a prominent business entrepreneur on St. John. One judge shall be a reasonable prudent person with at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited American university. Judges shall not know the identity of authors when judging essay content.
Q: How do I write an 100 to 200 word essay and how will my essay be judged?
A: Each essay submitted will receive a "number" with no contestants name for the judge’s review. Each essay will be judged on the bases of imagination, creativity, expression of thought, wit, positive social values, human interest, humor, and originality as long as the entrant conveys the answer as to why; I would like to own My Paradise Business because. Spelling and punctuation will be considered only to the extent that they add or detract from the other aspects of the essay.
Q: How do the judges process my essay?
A: All essays will be judged individually by each of the three panel judges. Please refer to Official Rules of the contest, (Determination of Winners)

Q: If I win, do I have to manage My Business in Paradise?
A: No, the Paradise Business is yours to sell for profit, subject to existing leases
Q: Is this essay contest a Lottery or a Raffle?
A: No, this essay contest is a contest of skill with no odds. This contest is a legal business. View Rules for clarification.
Q: Is a legitimate business running this contest?
A: Yes, Mixology Warehouse, Inc. is a registered corporation. Our Federal tax identification number is 61-1417315

Q: What if I do not receive my login and password after I have submitted my entry payment?
A: First, verify you received your confirmation email from Paypal verifying your payment (if you pay via e-check it can take several days to clear your bank). If so, be sure to check your 'Spam' folder if you have one in the event that it was misdirected by your ISP or email client. If you still do not have your username and password to login to our submission area, please click here. Please include your Paypal Transaction ID, your email and your name. We will confirm the details and then send you your login and password manually.
