I started Mixology Warehouse, a liquor store with service on St. John in the US Virgin Islands. I am now in my sixth year and my boat "Dulcinea" and I are itching once again to embark on our next adventure. Dulcinea seems to think that the time has come for a hull out and refit and to be out sailing the open water once again. Hence, this essay contest!

I figured I could offer somebody the opportunity to own their own successful turnkey business for a mere $100. One person out of 8000 will win a fully-stocked established business with $300 in the cash drawer to open up the doors immediately with the first three months rent paid. Also, I will remain with the winner and store for a period of one week at no cost, and will be available for a longer period if necessary (and at a reasonable price). You'll be walking into a five (5) year lease with the option for five more. There is plenty of growth potential, and I can share a number of ideas I have considered during my time in this business.
